As a Senior Indirect Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's operations by effectively managing the procurement process for indirect materials and services. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient procurement operations. Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies and processes for indirect materials and services
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing terms
Manage supplier relationships and perform supplier performance evaluations
Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute sourcing strategies
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
Monitor inventory levels, track delivery schedules, and resolve any procurement-related issues
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the machinery industry
Strong knowledge of procurement principles, regulations, and best practices
Proven track record of successful supplier management and negotiations
Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
