At Milacron, we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and growth. We are currently seeking a proactive, strategic Senior Human Resouces Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Batavia, Ohio.

The Senior HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our HR and business strategies. This role involves overseeing HR activities for the facility, including workforce management, talent development, performance management, and training compliance. The Senior HR Manager will track HR metrics, implement a high-performance culture, and participate in business planning to align HR delivery with business goals. The role also includes partnering with site leadership and the HR Center of Excellence, working with the Sr. Director of Human Resources and functioning as a change agent.

This role is onsite in the Cincinnati Metro area (Batavia, Ohio) 4 days per week and remote work option 1 day per week. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates who live outside of the area.

Work You will Do:

  • Oversee HR activities for Assembly Facility and HQ, including workforce management, talent development, performance management, associate engagement, and training/compliance.
  • Track HR metrics to align with business demands, economic landscape, and HR needs.
  • Implement a high-performance culture through organizational design solutions, performance indicators, and development roadmap plans.
  • Participate in business planning, aligning HR delivery with business goals, and identifying people-related gaps.
  • Collaborate with site leadership & HR Team to support strategic objectives, including manufacturing, operations, and support functions.
  • Work with the Sr. Director of Human Resources to translate HR strategy into actionable programs and initiatives.
  • Function as a change agent, fostering a culture based on business values, building key stakeholder relationships, and managing talent development planning.

Team:

This role will be a part of the Milacron Injection Molding & Extrusion – North America team. This position will have supervisory responsibilities for multiple direct reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree - preferably degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor
  • Position is primarily onsite with remote work 1 day per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a matrixed organization is highly preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to know who and when to involve in issues of concern.
  • Has a clear understanding of managing risk.
  • Ability to manage and determine levels of urgency with appropriate responses.
  • Proven success with implementation of programs and initiatives at all levels within the organization
