Summary
Interior Logic Group is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner that will focus on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. The main responsibility of an SHRBP is to act as a consultant to the business leaders and provide guidance on various HR matters. SHRBP will work closely with the management team to develop and implement strategic HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the overall goals of the organization.

Interior Logic Group is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner that will focus on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. The main responsibility of an SHRBP is to act as a consultant to the business leaders and provide guidance on various HR matters. SHRBP will work closely with the management team to develop and implement strategic HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the overall goals of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with business leaders and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Providing guidance and support on performance management, employee relations, talent development, employee engagement and retention.
- Assess and support organizational workforce initiatives including headcount increase requests in partnership with HR Shared Services team.
- Collaborating with the recruitment team to ensure the organization has the right talent in place, including helping hiring managers to scope out roles and write job descriptions
- In partnership with Compensation, assess incumbents to market rates, guide on strategy and review and process pay increases as well as promotions/job changes
- In partnership with People Analytics, analyzing HR metrics and data to identify current workforce trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- In partnership with Talent and Organizational Effectiveness COEs, conducting training sessions for managers and employees on various HR topics.
- Participating in strategic workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
- Managing employee engagement and retention programs.
- Handling employee grievances and conducting investigations when necessary, in partnership with Employee Relations team.
- Keeping up to date with HR best practices and industry trends.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in HR roles, such as HR generalist or HR specialist
- Lean Six Sigma strong preferred
- Start-up experience desired
- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, employment laws, and best practices
- Possess accurate and updated knowledge of Federal and State laws applicable to wages, hours, working conditions, safety, labor relations, etc. to ensure compliance with state and federal legal requirement
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively with minimal supervision
- Business analytics and data-oriented decision-maker
- Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
- Excellent project management skills and experience with a drive for results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for building relationships with employees and management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address HR issues within the organization
- Strong customer focus with ability to prioritize and respond to customer needs in a timely manner
- Working proficiency of HRIS systems and MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
