About The Role

The People Partnerships Lead provides effective HR operational services and advice to assigned business leaders to support the delivery of Equip’s organizational objectives and outcomes. This role acts as an employee champion, leadership coach, and strategic thought partner across all aspects of the employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding. This role guides assigned leaders to manage and resolve complex employee relationships and performance management issues to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect Equip’s business objectives. The People Partnerships Lead will report directly to the Senior Director of People Operations and Partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to assigned leaders for regular People needs including, but not limited to, employee relations issues, performance issues, team dynamics, conflict resolution, and career development.
  • Advise assigned leaders to effectively and efficiently resolve routine employee relationships or performance issues following best practices.
  • Manage complex employees relations and performance issue cases for assigned business functions and teams with minimal support from People team leadership.
  • In collaboration with cross-functional People team members, work closely with assigned leaders to improve relationships with employees, build morale and engagement, and increase productivity and retention.
  • In partnerships with People team leadership, advise assigned leaders on hiring decisions and workforce planning, ensuring alignment with overall organizational strategy.
  • Support successful execution of annual performance management programs for assigned business functions and teams.
  • Understand relevant People data and reporting for assigned business functions and teams to analyze trends, make recommendations, and implement solutions.
  • In partnership with People Operations, ensure adherence to compliance programming, initiatives and policies.
  • In partnership with the Senior Director of People Operations & Partnerships, own and execute special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain an effective level of understanding of assigned business functions’ objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience serving as an HR Business Partner for a high-growth healthcare organization.
  • PHR, SPHR, or other HR certification.
  • Demonstrated experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills including the demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with leaders at all levels as well as the demonstrated ability to understand someone’s needs, offer solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Self starter with demonstrated experience taking initiative to continuously improve processes and systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Google Suite products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

$95,000 - $125,000 a year

The pay range for this position in the US is $95,000 - $125,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are open to compensation negotiations. Equip offers a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k, paid time off, family and short-term disability leave.

Physical Demands

Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
