This role is responsible for overseeing the design and development of visual creative and production design assets across multiple online marketing channels. The person in this role will implement new and creative ways to showcase the Thryv brand and value proposition to support marketing efforts and projects across numerous digital verticals, including corporate websites, landing pages, interactive and downloadable content, social and display imagery, vector illustrations, internal and external communications, limited print pieces, and more.


Responsibilities

Develops concepts to provide visual, web-based marketing to promote solutions to business and/or client needs. Conceptualizes, designs, and executes 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations for web, mobile, and other digital platforms.

Designs creative content such as graphic art, graphics and/or 3D animation, special effects, interactive images, or other visual images for collateral including but not limited to websites, landing pages, social, email, digital presentation templates, videos, print and banner advertising, and other online platforms.

Collaborates across various teams to determine and analyze project specifications. Produces web development ready files and digital assets for online projects.

Executes artistic design and layout solutions with artistry and eye for user experience, taking into account interface, flow, imagery, icons, color, and more.

Adheres to brand and style guidelines to ensure artwork meets established quality and creative standards. Maintains and provides guidance on use of content for our brand's online presence.

Stays up to date with the latest design trends and best practices, with the ability to innovate and recommend/implement compelling, creative new design concepts accordingly.

May be asked to guide day-to-day creative work and projects.


Who We’re Looking For

Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required.

5+ years of related experience, required.

9+ years of related experience, preferred.

Strong industry knowledge with an understanding of best practices and processes to represent a brand’s reputation that produces engagement and other core measurable results.

Highly skilled in brainstorming strategies with the ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems and convey ideas in tangible form.

Highly skilled in preparing production-ready files and videos that meet layout, type, color expectations, and guidelines for final product.

Project management and organization skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities with competing deadlines.

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate the business goal behind the creation and express ideas in multiple ways, collaborating with all levels across the organization with varying degrees of industry knowledge.

Strong design skills including screen layouts, information and directional design, typography, and an understanding of user-centered design principles with an exceptional eye for detail.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a broader team to translate creative direction into design concepts.

Technical acumen with the ability to use a variety of visual and audio design with strong skills graphic design and video editing tools. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator), Figma, and video editing software such as Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant tools.

Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.

Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
