Josie Maran Cosmetics is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Global Marketing who will be responsible for partnering with the Executive Director, Global Marketing & cross-functional teams to develop & drive innovative strategy and 360 marketing programs for all new product launches and existing core heroes within the brand’s portfolio. In collaboration with the team, this role will work on the execution of concept ideation, launch plans, implementation of strategic marketing initiatives, & creation of marketing assets & content. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, agile, and should possess both analytical and creative skills with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally within the organization.
What You Will Do
Drive Josie Maran’s business under guidance of Executive Director, Global Marketing to increase share of market in competitive landscape with a consumer centric approach. Own and uncover meaningful consumer insights to initiate breakthrough product innovation, communications and data-driven marketing. Drive brand growth by developing innovative strategies and go-to-market plans for both new launches and core businesses with executional excellence. Improve and execute internal processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develops innovation strategy and always-on core approach in partnership with Executive Director, Global Marketing, senior leadership and founder, sizing opportunities to ensure the brand is driving incremental year over year growth
- Helps drive the ideation and execution of 360° marketing plans for new launches and core business by working cross-functionally with teams including Project Management, Product Development, Packaging, Trade Marketing, Regulatory, Comms, Social, Influencer, Creative, Education, and Sales
- Analyzes consumer and competitive trends to create a best-in-class suite of assets for new launches and evergreen programs
- Creates clear and strategic briefs for new product development, campaign concept creation and launch strategy kickoffs
- Develops & refines brand & product messaging, ensuring key messaging is consistent across all customer touchpoints
- Collaborates cross-functionally to implement new processes that help streamline communications, ways of working and approvals
- Manages the creation of marketing copy briefs, claims, & education materials
- Develops clear & thoughtful creative briefs for content team to create best-in-class assets
- Drives & contributes to content creation process with clear feedback & strategic direction
- Analyzes sales data, industry trends, product reviews, and competitive research to identify actionable insight
- Manages & develops team members, delegating assignments & supporting career growth, with one direct report
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Min 6+ years relevant Marketing experience - beauty industry required
- Exceptional analytical & creative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and strong self-motivation
- Proactive problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across all departments
- Works independently & takes initiative to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Full time, salaried employee
Base Pay Range: $130,000-$140,000
Generous yearly bonus
