Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $68,000.00/yr
Position Description: The Senior Front Desk Manager is directly responsible for overseeing a portion of the Front Desk Clerk Team in Foundation Communities’ 9 supportive housing communities for single adults. This includes managing all aspects of supervision, oversight, disciplinary action, administrative duties, and operational issues. As a part of the Resident Services team, this position helps to ensure that all Front Desk Clerks provide a safe and welcoming environment for all residents, visitors, and staff while providing excellent customer service and upholding the utmost standards of professionalism. Work schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Wednesday – Thursday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Friday 9:00 – 5:00, with on-call hours, to include two weekends a month.

Primary Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Oversees a portion of the Front Desk Clerk Team at 5 (of 9) supportive housing communities, including a leadership team and upwards of 30 employees
  • Directly supervise Front Desk Managers which includes weekly one-on-one meetings, giving constant critical feedback on job performance, regular evaluations, and performing disciplinary action as needed. Must maintain a Performance Log for every direct report and keep excellent records of any and all significant staff interactions as well as personal tracking of workflow and meetings.
  • Oversees and approves coaching, progressive discipline, and terminations of Front Desk Clerk team staff, including required Human Resources documentation
  • Offer guidance, support, and organizational resources to all members of the Front Desk Clerk team
  • Respond to emergencies as required and provide direct support and instructions to Front Desk Clerk Leadership team to effectively assess and diffuse crisis situations, help contact proper authorities, and thoroughly document incidents. On call hours: M-F 4pm – 12am, every other weekend
  • Maintain strong communication and cooperation with Property Management and Resident Services teams to foster effective problem resolution and a positive living environment for residents. Attend blended management meetings and regular one on one meetings with onsite staff

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience directly managing 10 or more employees in a customer service-based environment.
  • Ability to work with diverse types of people, be courteous and professional, and successfully resolve conflicts. Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, human relation skills, and the ability to and the ability to successfully resolve conflict
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex schedules at multiple work sites
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient at Microsoft Office Suite

Highly Preferred

  • Experience working individuals with low-incomes, or issues of homelessness, mental health, and substance use

Working Conditions

The work conditions usually take place in a clean, pleasant, and comfortable office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. An occupational exposure to blood, or other potentially infectious materials can be expected. May be asked to clean up bodily fluids or spills with appropriate training and personal protective equipment provided. Must be able to use computer, cell phone, and security monitoring systems extensively.

Travel: This position requires daily travel between locations, and will require use of personal vehicle. Typical workdays will start at the main office or one of the SRO properties, with anticipated travel to additional properties throughout the shift. Travel is reimbursed at the approved IRS mileage rate.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is seated in an office setting and is regularly required to see, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. Must be able to perform several rounds at the property.Must be able to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs daily.The employee is frequently required to use hands. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation

$65,000 - $68,000 /annual

Employees are required to follow any other job-related instructions and perform job-related duties as may be reasonably assigned by his/her supervisor.
