Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Description

The Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst ensures timely and reliable financial reporting by analyzing data, preparing statements, and collaborating across departments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in contributing to informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the manufacturing unit according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues, and provide insights to support informed decision-making.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, inventory, cost accounting) to gather necessary financial information.
• Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and regulations relevant to manufacturing.
• Prepare and maintain detailed financial records for audit purposes.
• Work collaboratively with the Finance team to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Oracle Hyperion, SAP) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
