JOB TITLE: Senior/Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst - Commercial

REPORTS TO: Director of Financial Planning & Analysis


SUMMARY:

A Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst / Manager at Jordan’s Skinny Mixes successfully executes our business strategy through building out and leading FP&A activities for the company. In this role, you will assist in forecasting, trade & deduction management, and reporting with a focus on maintaining profitable growth. PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

·      Drive profitable expansion into traditional retail (club/mass, grocery) while leading all aspects of customer trade management including development of trade spending principles, trade management budgeting, profitability analysis, cash impact analysis, deductions management, etc.

·      Ensure financial controls by leading monthly trade reconciliation and budget management process.

·      Provide financial analysis and scenario planning support for incremental trade proposals.

·      Manages internal reporting as it relates to the forecast and budget.

·      Develop & manage comprehensive set of Trade Controls and ensure compliance by Sales Team.

·      Participates in ad hoc projects and analysis as business needs arise.

·     Serve as a key business partner and contributor to growth strategies, tactics and mid-and long-range planning; work closely with Marketing, Operations and Sales departments.

·      Help develop the capabilities of the finance team to not only keep pace with the business today, but to ensure a strong foundation to support future growth.

·      Support strategic initiatives by working with stakeholders across the company to develop business cases, provide financial analysis, and drive the FP&A function as a proven center of thought partnership and analytical excellence.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-10 years of broad financial experience supporting various areas of finance, with emphasis on financial planning and analysis.
  • Demonstrated background in manufacturing and high-growth consumer and CPG companies (large CPG corporate setting or smaller CPG growth company) with a strong understanding of various distribution channels; at Skinny Mixes, these include DTC & e-commerce as well as trade management with brick & mortar retail (how we partner with big box retailers such as Walmart and Target to drive consumer demand), and Food Distributors such as UNFI and KeHE.
  • Advanced proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience in trade promotion.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional business partners.
  • Disciplined approach toward execution; stellar attention to detail and ability to navigate within large and complex data environments.
  • Demonstrated experience selling into brick & mortar retail (club/mass and grocery) and e-commerce (Shopify and Amazon).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen ability to clearly convey information to stakeholders.
  • A history of leading by example, taking initiative to create or enhance processes, and building strong foundations with your coworkers.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.


NICE TO HAVES:

·      Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

·      Experience in both large and small company environments is preferred.

·      Proficiency in NetSuite operating platform.

·      Alignment with vision, mission, & values, and is passionate about a talented, female-founded business.

·      Prior background working with Private Equity or Venture Capital investor-backed companies.


STATUS: Full-time, exempt


LOCATION: Our ideal candidate is located in Clearwater, Florida and can work on a hybrid schedule. This position is also available to remote employees; however, we are not accepting candidates in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington at this time.
