Manage relationships with investors, stakeholders, and analysts. Represent financial position of our global organization to stakeholders, shareholders, analysts, and the Finance team. Manage queries and questions.
Performs a variety of financial studies to analyze and report financial information of both MetLife and peer companies. Determines validity of data and provides supporting explanations of conclusions reached.

Description and Requirements
Role Value Proposition:
Manage relationships with investors, stakeholders, and analysts. Represent financial position of our global organization to stakeholders, shareholders, analysts, and the Finance team. Manage queries and questions.
Performs a variety of financial studies to analyze and report financial information of both MetLife and peer companies. Determines validity of data and provides supporting explanations of conclusions reached.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works on basic to more complex financial analyses, assignments or projects.
- Provides support to the Investor Relations team in a variety of areas including financial analysis, marketing, investor communications, presentations and reports to senior management and lines of business.
- Monitor shareholder information, including changes in ownership at both the institutional and fund levels.
- Prepare materials for investor meetings, conferences, earnings releases and other investor relations events.
- Ability to identify industry trends and drive competitive analysis.
- Keep track of financial results, strategy and research for MetLife and peer companies.
- Monitor MetLife Investor Relations website and ensure timely postings of financial documents, press releases and other materials.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years financial experience in a public or private company environment.
- Working knowledge of accounting concepts, principles, and practices.
- Must have excellent power point and excel skills.
- Strong project management and communications skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas, both written and oral, to senior internal and external audiences.
- Ability to exercise good judgment when dealing with all levels of the organization.
- Hard-working, proven attention-to-detail, and desire to learn.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential documents and information in a highly professional manner.
- Ability to operate in a global fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Polished, articulate, creative and a positive approach to executing upon desired outcomes.
- Completion of or progress towards CPA or MBA preferred.
- Insurance industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg preferred.
