Senior Financial Analyst

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll help lead our budget & forecast variance reporting. You’ll make reports easy to understand for our business stakeholders and build automation into our processes. This role reports to our Director of Corporate Finance and will partner with both the broader Finance team and the rest of SeatGeek to improve financial data quality, reporting, and the broader financial modeling infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Review monthly financial results and performance variance analysis against our budget and forecast
  • Build reports, decks, and dashboards to support internal financial reporting and processes across the company
  • Relentlessly pursue a deeper understanding of our business drivers and digging deep into the whys and implications on the future
  • Improve operational processes and reporting using systems and automation
  • Partner with our Accounting, Strategic Finance, Investor Relations, and Business Systems teams on ad hoc projects to improve financial reporting and data

What You Have

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, with 2+ years of Corporate FP&A or Investment Banking or Accounting experience preferred
  • Mastery of financial modeling (3-statement, NPV, DCF) and spreadsheet functionality
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Ability to establish productive relationships with senior leaders within the company including department heads, Managing Directors, and other executives
  • Ability to pull insights out of large data sets, preferably using tools/skills like SQL, Looker, Tableau, etc.
  • Prior use of enterprise software similar to NetSuite (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), or Adaptive Insights (CPM) is a plus

The salary range for this role is $74,000- $113,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
