What You’ll Do as a Senior Financial Analyst:
Conduct detailed analyses to comprehend and monitor key performance indicators within your assigned business unit.
Collaborate on creating the “bottom-up” monthly forecast and annual budget.
Generate ad hoc reports to assess business trends and compare against forecasts and budgets.
Monitor daily and weekly metrics, taking proactive steps to align results with plans.
Initiate projects to enhance forecast accuracy, drive cost savings, and improve efficiency.
Contribute to ongoing planning process evolution, including result compilation and variance explanation.
Assist in preparing management reporting packages on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Collaborate effectively with other departments to manage expenses within forecasted targets.
Identify trends in products, market segments, and key customers to support strategic decision-making.
Seek opportunities to enhance standard reporting, driving actionable insights.
Implement action plans for improved forecast accuracy, cost savings, and profit enhancement.
Qualifications to be the Senior Financial Analyst:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting and 3 years of related experience.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flows from bottom to top
Expert operating level with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel is required. (Power BI experience would be a plus, but is not required)
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills – to various levels of an organization.
Have a challenger mindset with a strong collaborative focus, sense of curiosity and desire to learn.
