Senior Financial Analyst - Capital Expenditure

Company Overview: Join a high-growth company backed by private equity. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team and focus on capital expenditure.


Position Overview: The Senior Financial Analyst—capital Expenditure will play a crucial role in our finance team, providing strategic analysis and insights on capital expenditure projects. This position will work closely with senior management to ensure optimal resource allocation, support decision-making processes, and drive financial performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Capital Expenditure Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis of capital expenditure projects, including ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback period calculations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing and monitoring capital expenditure budgets and forecasts. Track and report on actual vs. budgeted spending.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support capital expenditure planning and decision-making processes.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and prioritize capital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analysis to senior management and private equity stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve capital expenditure processes and controls.
  • Risk Management: Assess financial risks associated with capital projects and provide recommendations to mitigate potential issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to capital expenditure.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on capital expenditure, preferably in a high-growth, private equity-backed environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to senior management and stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
