We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst for an excellent opportunity with one of our Boston-based clients. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in collecting and analyzing data to help forecast revenue and prepare detailed financial reports. This position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to clearly present financial information to different audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and review financial data from various internal and external sources
Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly financial reports
Assist with the monthly closing of the general ledger
Create and analyze reports for future planning based on past financial data and expected activities
Produce financial reports for presentations to management, different teams, the board of directors, shareholders, and others
Review operational and data quality reports to ensure quick and accurate correction of any mistakes
Qualifications
Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting
Proficient in using spreadsheet applications, especially Excel
High level of accuracy and organizational skills
Ability to clearly explain financial results to management
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
At least five years of experience in a financial analysis or accounting role
