The Job:

This is an upper-level position and requires a mature professional individual with strong project management and relationship building skills. The position requires great flexibility, strategic problem solving, strong leadership, the ability to independently manage multiple priority projects, and the sincere desire to coach and mentor growing team members.


A Senior Event Manager is responsible for working collaboratively with key clients in executing their events and managing our internal teams to success. They serve as the main point of contact for the client and for the teams supporting them. They are able to quickly and effectively adjust their problem-solving skills and communication styles throughout the day. This person will be responsible for leveraging their experience within the events industry to create trust-based relationships with clients that help grow and expand our accounts. Additionally, they will leverage that same experience alongside strong soft-skills to coach team members in a way that support their professional growth. Typically, a minimum of 6-8 years of directly related training and/or experience is required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job.


Major Accountabilities:

  • Leverage new technologies, strategies and innovation to deliver value and unique experiences to our clients and attendees
  • Leverage years of experience in the industry to coach and train team members to contribute to the strength and growth as a team
  • Be a resource for all team members in terms of best practices, historical knowledge, and creative/innovated problem solving
  • Able to drive large teams to success both in event and personal professional goals
  • Remain current on new styles of event execution and industry trends
  • Independently or collaboratively plan and execute various events from start to finish of all sizes
  • Lead and manage tier 1 level events
  • Work directly with clients to understand event goals and objectives
  • Maintain clear project plan and consistently manage vendor teams, v-teams, logistics teams and business owner teams to achieve execution excellence
  • Delegate and manage additional team members, as necessary, to projects according to area of expertise, skill sets, and interests
  • Manage event budgets and advise on site selection, contract negotiation, manage payments, vendor RFPs, SOWs, and other related issues as it pertains to budget
  • Development and copywriting of event documentation and reporting
  • Maintain client relationships to ensure repeat business and new business opportunities
  • Develop strategies, reflective of sales and marketing goals of the client
  • Develop and maintain client budgets and revenue reporting
  • Collaborate with marketing teams for design, layout and production of event marketing materials
  • Oversee onsite setup, logistics, and teardown
  • Modify existing processes and create new ones to manage the unique aspects of each show
  • Understand client’s rules and regulations surrounding procurement, privacy information, financial forecasting, budgeting and legal responsibilities.
  • Represent Dynamic Events with the utmost professionalism providing quality customer service while maintaining strong ethical work standards
  • Manage client relationships and display account management skills to grow existing accounts to support and contribute to business goals
  • Recognizing client needs and providing a customized solution to meet client goals and objectives.
