Senior Engineering Manager

Are you ready to lead a dynamic engineering team and drive the development of cutting-edge technology in the online travel industry? We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to elevate our Connectivity platform and optimize our Portal product for an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the VP of PaaS Development and Product Manager to develop strategic plans.
• Lead a team of engineers through technical design, code reviews, unit testing, and automation testing.
• Manage and resolve emergency technical issues promptly.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and mentorship of the US engineering team.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on technological advancements and integrate best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business goals.

Key Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 7+ years of Java development experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Technical expertise in Spring / Spring Boot / Spring Cloud, Mybatis, Hibernate, JPA, and other frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, ReactJS, Node.js, NPM).
• Experience with code version management tools (Git, SVN) and unit testing frameworks (Junit, Easy Mock, Spockframework).
• Strong negotiation and alignment skills across functional teams.
• Preferred: Experience in the online travel industry.
