Job Summary:

TalentBridge is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Engineering Manager to lead our client’s design and production team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, project management, and team leadership. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing the entire lifecycle of projects, from initial concept through to final delivery and installation. In this role you will set and execute a strategic vision for the facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the operation, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and growth.
  • Set and achieve long-term financial and operational goals, driving profitability and market expansion.
  • Full P&L responsibility for the facility, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and manage budgets, capital investments, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability.
  • Oversee all aspects of engineering, design, production, and service to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Optimize production processes, from initial design through final installation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control and safety standards throughout the production and installation processes.
  • Conduct performance reviews, resolve personnel issues, set goals, and identify training and development needs to build a high-performing team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, conducting regular team meetings and providing ongoing training and development.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define project scope and specifications.
  • Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Implement best practices in design, manufacturing, and project management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
  • Evaluate feedback from customers and installation teams to drive product enhancements and process improvements.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Attend regional and international events to network and gather market insights.
  • Provide input for marketing efforts, including press releases, industry publications, and online content.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a senior engineering or operations management role.
  • Proven leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills with a demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
  • Experience in technical/product/solution sales and/or product management/support.
  • Prior experience in the custom automation equipment industry.
