One of our clients in the FinTech industry is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager with a wealth of experience in developing and managing large-scale applications. The ideal candidate will possess robust engineering, database, and AWS skills, and will be proficient in troubleshooting issues, removing obstacles, and driving continuous progress in a dynamic setting.
Day to Day:
Oversee the development and operation of large-scale applications, ensuring they are high-performing, scalable, and reliable.
Address and resolve complex technical issues and roadblocks, ensuring projects progress on schedule.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of full-stack engineers.
Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and launch new features.
Continuously enhance engineering processes and practices to improve efficiency and quality.
Ensure the platform remains high-performing, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective.
Lead initiatives to ensure platform quality by advocating for code reviews, implementing automated testing, and driving continuous integration processes
Qualifications:
Proficiency in C++
Possession of AWS certifications.
Familiarity with platform engineering and DevOps practices and tools.
Prior experience in a senior leadership role
