Senior Engineer

As a Senior Engineer, you will use your industry experience and knowledge to maintain and develop Leverage Lab’s Enterprise Customer Data Infrastructure (ECDI) platform to help modernize the way enterprises handle, analyze and leverage customer data. Built with a focus on identity resolution and data enrichment, our platform empowers businesses to gain a comprehensive understanding of their customers, leading to more personalized and effective marketing strategies. Operational Accountabilities A Senior Engineer works closely with the Director of Engineering as well as other people within the engineering department to ensure that Leverage Lab’s platform continues to function at a high level. They will work within the department to bring new enhancements and innovations to the platform while continuing to focus on scalability and reliability. They will work with client partner managers to ensure that our technology meets the client’s needs, and work with the Implementation team to ensure that the platform can be supported both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities Be a subject matter expert on Leverage Lab’s approach to pipelining data through SQL transformations Assist in developing client data models to offer predictive for customer workflows Develop and execute additional data pipelines that support high performing, reliable insights at scale through best practices such as continuous deployment/continuous integration Contribute and expand Leverage Lab’s repository of custom python modules Own Leverage Lab’s cloud platform stack, ensuring that it remains functional for all clients while achieving the most cost efficient best practices in implementation Support and develop effective logging, error handling, and triage processes to ensure any issue with a client’s stack is quickly resolved. Demonstrate a self driven mindset to discover problems, innovate solutions, and deliver functionality Mentor and advise others within the organization on best engineering practices Education Bachelors in Computer Engineer or Computer Science Required Experience 3-5 years experience as an engineer working within a software development team 3-5 years experience developing backend services using REST endpoints Experience using at least one public Generative AI Service (ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, etc) Experience with a cloud based platform like AWS, Azure, or GCP to build end to end solutions A proven track record of being able to deliver high quality solutions on time Required Skills Fluency: Python, both for general programming and for data science SQL and experience writing complex queries across multiple tables Github database design and abstraction Competency with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IoC) language Mathematical competency in data science principles Strong communication skills, focused on the translation of technical work to user requirements Preferred Skills Certifications in Google Cloud Platform Experience with : Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) for large scale API deployments Google VertexAI for model development and deployment Google Colab Google Firebase delivering front and backend solutions at scale developing CI/CD automated pipelines for code and data CDPs such as Rudderstack, Lytics, or Treasure Data developing web applications in Node.JS media or ad tech industry An ability and desire to be a customer-facing engineer drive to find innovative solution for our clients and logistics to bring them to market Advertising Services Business Consulting and Services Software Development About Leverage Lab Leverage Lab is the premier revenue partner for clients who want to grow their business using their customer data.
