Duration: 03 Months Contract (Potential Temp to Perm)

Pay Rate: $80/hr. - $90/hr.

Shift Time: 1st Shift (Mon-Fri; 8 AM – 5 PM)

In this role you will serve as a senior-level technical expert, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship in engineering projects and initiatives.

Job Description:

As a Senior Engineer IV, you will serve as a senior-level technical expert, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship in engineering projects and initiatives.

You will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering solutions, driving innovation, and ensuring excellence in execution.

Functions:

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of engineering projects, products, or systems, from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, technical requirements, and customer needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence in execution.
• Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and feasibility studies to evaluate technical challenges, opportunities, and risks, and develop innovative solutions or enhancements.
• Use advanced engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, models, simulations, and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with standards and regulations.Lead the execution of experiments, tests, and analyses to validate design concepts, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement, leveraging your expertise and experience.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices in engineering disciplines, and mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering professional development.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.10+ years of experience in engineering, product development, or a related role, with a proven track record of success in leading complex engineering projects and initiatives.Expertise in engineering principles, theories, and methodologies, with the ability to apply them to solve technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as CAD/CAM, simulation, and analysis software, and the ability to interpret and analyze complex engineering data.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to drive results, manage priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Engineering or related field.
• Professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent certification.
• Extensive experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace), with knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software and design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
• Previous experience in mentoring and coaching junior engineers and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
