Overview

Trust and Agency Services Technology within the Corporate Banking Division of Deutsche Bank is responsible for building and managing Escrow, Invoice, Transactions, and Reporting applications. We are looking for technologists who will build and manage container platform with GKE on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), collaborate with internal stakeholders - Product, other Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and support teams, and to rollout new features. You'll develop, test, and deploy microservices following Deutsche Bank technology and platform guidelines. Deutsche Bank is investing heavily in technology, which means we are investing in you. What You’ll Do

• Design and build application programming interface (APIs)
• Work closely with leads to understand and map the User Interface (UI) and API design as per requirements, as well as ensure systems complying with group infrastructure and security policies/standards
• Design and code as per portal standards, as well as provide professional consultancy and support in response to the queries from developers and business on security access
• Complete API unit testing and ensure proper coverage, in addition to working closely with global and regional stakeholders and global development team on mandatory / regulatory / development projects
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines- with GKE for application deployment and implement security measures and best practices for GKE platform, as well as build & manage container platform with GKE on GCP
• Build and maintain monitoring /alerting solutions for GKE platform, while ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations

Skills You’ll Need

• Strong knowledge of GKE clusters, Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP Dev Ops, and standard development and build tools, e.g. GITHub with hands-on knowledge in PostgreSQL and knowledge in Authentication and Authorization - WebSSO, CIDP, Azure AD
• Understanding of the deployment process, GCO monitoring, the Kafka implementation for integration
• Basic understanding of React/Angular and basic Java and SQL knowledge
• Experience with MVC and design patterns, in working with Agile methodology, unit testing practices, Google Cloud Platform core services, Kubernetes Platform Development and administration, Containerization technologies – Docker, Cloud native architecture and microservices, continuous integration/continuous deployment or development (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices, working in a multicultural environment demonstrable ability to adapt to different cultures, GCP cloud migration,
• Good knowledge of Agile Scrum and knowledge of tools like JIRA, confluence

• High attention to detail and be able to articulate designs and implementation aspects in a concise manner with strong Communication and analytical skills
• Strong team player who also can work under pressure, independently and proactively while balancing competing priorities to achieve results on complex new development and integrations

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 - $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
