We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer experienced in Renewable Energy for projects involving Solar PV, Wind, and Energy Storage systems. Responsibilities include reviewing and designing electrical aspects for projects ranging from 100KW to 1,000MW for solar and 5MWh to 1,000MWh+ for energy storage. Desired expertise in Balance of System design, with potential on-site support for construction and commissioning. Emphasis on long-term facility operation and maintenance. Responsibilities
Electrical Supervision of Wind distributed and/or utility-scale solar PV, and Battery Storage design projects.
Design, Review, and oversee Electrical Infrastructure for power-generating facilities with a focus on Renewable Power Sources.
Responsible for supporting renewable energy proposals, running design and performance software for energy storage and renewables system designs, and performing renewable energy-related project electrical engineering roles for power markets.
Real-world project design engineering/construction experience with a combination of wind, solar, battery storage, and alternative energy-related technologies.
Develop electrical designs for wind, solar, battery storage, EV DC fast charging, and microgrid-related technologies.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of proven electrical engineering design experience in the power, battery energy storage, or microgrid industry (industrial scale to utility-scale projects)
Experience in electrical design, construction and commissioning associated with power generating facilities including BOP Electrical Design and Project Management.
BSEE or equivalent experience
Experience working with IPPs, Utilities, ISOs, EPCs and Developers
Compensation
A base salary is expected to be between $95,000-$130,000 depending on skills, experience, and education amongst other factors.
