Senior Electrical Engineer – Hybrid OR Remote



As the Senior Electrical Engineer you will manage and perform low and medium voltage system design across Mission Critical Data Center projects. You will participate in the design process of electrical systems and prepare or review detailed electrical drawings and calculations for required projects. You will support the National Mission Critical Leader to develop the team and grow the business unit, with the opportunity to attend networking events to support Business Development. Additionally, you will coordinate with the multiple design disciplines in developing technical solutions.



Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical team on full project scope including fee development, task delegation, construction documentation, specifications, bid negotiations, construction administration, and closeout.
  • Perform as the Electrical Engineer of Record when required.
  • Develop and coordinate electrical designs from concept through completion.
  • Manage and develop a team of engineers.
  • Prepare the design of fire detection and alarm systems within mission critical facilities.
  • Review and prepare technical studies utilizing software including SKM, ETAP and Easy Power.
  • Perform Load flow studies, fault calculations, Arc Flash, overcurrent coordination studies, duct bank calculations and harmonic studies.
  • Coordinate electrical design requirements with multiple disciplines.
  • Coordinate project design requirements with clients, contractors, sub-contractors and other applicable project engineers.



Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years experience on Mission Critical Data Center projects.
  • Experience with Medium Voltage systems up to 35KV.
  • Experience managing schedule, budget, and quality of multiple projects.
  • Experience designing power systems.
  • Experience with Revit.
  • Ability to travel to projects when required.
  • Eligible to work in the United States. Citizen or Greencard holder.
