Essential Duties
The Senior Director - Network Dealer oversees the day-to-day running of the Dealership operations within a bus manufacturing company. Their primary responsibilities include managing dealer relationships, ensuring sales targets are met, and maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders. This is a remote position that can be performed anywhere in the USA or Canada.

In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.

Essential Duties
The Senior Director - Network Dealer oversees the day-to-day running of the Dealership operations within a bus manufacturing company. Their primary responsibilities include managing dealer relationships, ensuring sales targets are met, and maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders. This is a remote position that can be performed anywhere in the USA or Canada.
- Dealer Network Management:
- Collaborate with dealer principals and sales managers to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Monitor dealer performance, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
- Foster strong relationships with factory owned dealers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee dealer training programs and provide necessary support.
- Maintain compliance for dealership standards.
- Sales Performance:
- Set sales targets, budgets and KPIs for the dealer network.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve revenue goals.
- Regularly review sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Analyze network footprint vs. existing infrastructure.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a liaison between the manufacturer and dealers.
- Collaborate with other directors, including the Vehicle sales directors.
- Ensure effective communication channels are maintained with dealers and internal teams.
- Financial Management:
- Monitor dealer financial health, including profitability and cash flow.
- Review dealer funding arrangements and ensure compliance with financial agreements.
- Contribute to long-term viability and growth of the business.
- Health, Safety and Environment:
- Accountable for maintaining health and safety standards within the dealer network.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Maintain internal certifications within ISO standards and OSHA.
- Lean
- Oversee continuous improvement activities to ensure ongoing progress.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field, Preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the automotive or transportation industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of dealer operations and network management.
- Must be able to travel internationally (USA to Canada and Sweden).
