Senior Director, Quality

Accelsius is developing revolutionary direct-to-chip cooling technology applicable in the data center, in 5G edge deployments, and in embedded applications such as electric vehicles.

Accelsius is looking for a seasoned and experienced Quality Sr. Director to lead our quality assurance and control efforts in advance of rapid product and company growth. This position reports directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and the right candidate will provide strong strategic and tactical thought leadership toward designing, implementing and managing our enterprise-wide quality management systems.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System in compliance with industry standards (ISO9001, 14001, 45001, etc.)
• Ensure all quality processes are documented, communicated and adhered to across the organization.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including incoming material inspection, in-process quality checks, final product testing, etc.
• Implement data-driven analysis methods to monitor and control quality.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, fostering a collaborative and professional environment and culture
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Work closely with customer-facing teams and leaders to monitor feedback and drive strategies to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Product Engineering, and other teams to ensure smooth delivery of products and mitigation of any potential quality risks or disruptions and promote a culture of safety throughout the company.
• Develop quality related KPIs to effectively monitor and report on organizational performance.
  
  

Qualifications For This Role Include

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a relevant technical field.
• 10+ years relevant experience with previous roles showing progressively increasing responsibility over systems, methods, and scope of projects.
• Proven experience in quality management within an IT hardware or related industry
• Experience in establishing and leading teams of professionals with the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Strong background in Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to quality assurance processes
• Must bring curiosity, a willingness to be hands-on, professionalism, a positive attitude and a focus on problem solving
