Job Description
The Senior Director will be responsible for a portfolio of 50+ Acadeum partnership accounts, which may include specialized relationships based on the unique needs of our partners. This results oriented leader will be responsible for driving YOY growth goals, as well as meeting sales goals based upon selling additional products and services to existing partnership accounts. The role will be accountable for partner enrollment and sales metrics, and will be expected to meet or exceed goals for their accounts requiring deep experience in increasing account utilization despite typical higher education roadblocks. The role will be responsible for implementing strategies and tactics to achieve provided metrics and then working directly with partners to sell stakeholders across campus and enable partner engagement. A successful candidate will be knowledgeable about the academic cycle and be planful around the timing of their client engagements in order to maximize enrollments. Additionally, the Sr. Director will be responsible for leading a key project around re-architecting the partner launch and activation process, as well as monitoring the new strategy execution for both the Sales and Partner Success teams. The Sr. Director will work with the VP on the launch initiative.

Responsibilities
Manage a set of 50+ partner accounts
Drive activity and results to meet established metrics and goals for each account with particular focus on 50% YOY enrollment growth as well as metrics around selling additional Acadeum products to existing customers
Assist in re-architecting the Acadeum new partner launch process
Manage launch and activation process for new Acadeum members
Facilitate new partner onboarding, including training partner stakeholders on all key Acadeum platforms
Evaluate existing institutional processes at partner institutions and work in collaborating with partner liaison to identify use cases and execution strategies for maximization
Originate and execute successful strategies and tactics which will increase utilization of their accounts
Establish steering committees with key senior leaders and functional stakeholders during the new partner launch process to help strengthen our position as a strategic partner
Support the KPIs and ongoing development of the Partner Success team
Manage other tasks as assigned by the AVPs and Vice President of Partner Success
Proactively interface with customers in an education setting to ensure adoption and customer success
Understand the academic calendar and be planful according to the student life cycle and the school’s budget cycle
Consistently identify opportunities to improve process and communication throughout the partner engagement lifecycle
Work independently to meet goals and targets
Constructively engage in a matrixed organization to drive results across various teams
Assist partners with identifying opportunities and strategies for optimizing the course share network
Responsible for enabling an extended catalog of courses for partners though the course share platform
Empower partners to effectively communicate the value proposition of the course share platform to stakeholders

Requirements/ Competencies
Minimum 5 years experience in the Higher Education Industry
Minimum 5 years Sales or Business Development experience
Minimum 5 years Account Management experience
Experience working at a growing startup (Acadeum is series B) given its lean headcount and fast pace as well as a fully remote organization
Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Deep experience in developing and deploying account strategies and tactics to increase account utilization
Customer facing experience in a Sales and Account Management roles ● Results oriented mindset; ability to make timely and impactful decisions ● Strong understanding of business and operational processes
Ability to manage and measure necessary activity to drive results
Agility and the ability to succeed in a fast paced complex organization using both sales and account management skills
Ability to effectively communicate to a broad range of constituents at education institutions.
Familiarity with transfer credit and higher education operating/business models ● Previous experience in a startup environment preferred
MS Office and G-Suite experience preferred
HubSpot experience a plus
