The Senior Director, Digital Marketing will lead all marketing plans, campaigns & content (from brief to creation to execution) across Digital Channels. They will work closely with the Senior Director Brand Marketing to ensure all channel needs are considered and addressed within our client’s USA brand and product campaigns, while also creating and driving an “always on” content plan to drive marketing support of our direct-to-consumer channels. This position will report to the SVP of Brand Marketing.
This role will also oversee the brand’s paid media strategy and seasonal plans, ensuring innovative, engaging and efficient media plans, content & investment through the marketing funnel.
Key Responsibilities
Define the short & long-term marketing strategy and seasonal plans across all digital direct-to-consumer channels
Partner with the SVP Marketing, SVP DTC and SVP Sales to design and build seasonal marketing plans to deliver against all relevant KPIs (brand awareness, engagement, traffic and conversion)
Partner closely with channel teams (Ecommerce, Sales, etc.) to understand channel needs, seasonal calendars and key franchise / category / product priorities.
Lead creative digital agency/s in the development of creative campaigns and content across various channels, inclusive of ecommerce, email, digital display, SEO, SEM, etc.
Lead and manage the creation of all ecommerce product photography. Create, lead and manage all creative standards & ensure seasonal and real-time content needs are delivered with efficiency and creative excellence
Lead the Paid Media team and media agency to develop dynamic and impactful media plans and day-to-day brand & performance paid media campaigns – driving awareness, engagement and conversion
Build, lead and mentor a team of marketing team members – fostering a culture of inclusivity, learning, growth, innovation and creativity
Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure one aligned brand approach across markets and the sharing of creative concepts, campaigns and content when appropriate
Work with consumer / market Insights teams to ensure an always-on understanding of consumer behavior, marketing trends and general state of play across key competitors and the overall retail industry
Deepen the marketing core-competency across the brand – be an internal thought leader and influencer to expand the overall understanding of marketing principles, activities & investments
Build, protect and enhance brand identity, ensuing consistency, craft & creative excellence across channels
Manage the channel marketing working budget, ensuring campaigns, content and media plans are delivered on time, in full and on budget
Qualifications / Requirements
10+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, Paid Media, and Brand Marketing, leading full lifecycle campaign briefing, creation and execution across paid, earned & owned channels
Deep expertise in paid media across brand and performance
Deep knowledge of digital platforms, inclusive of brand ecommerce strategies, platforms, tactics and content plans
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, brand management, communications or related field
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster high-impact collaboration and influence all levels of the brand
Expertise across all digital marketing channels – ATL, Social, PR, and Influencers
Experience translating brand concepts into marketing campaigns, activations and experiences that drive relevancy and resonance with consumers, media and the industry
Deep understanding of sport & sport culture preferred
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Strong organizational and project management experience
Salary: $175K-$200K
