As the Senior Director of our Cybersecurity Practice at Optomi Professional Services, you will play a crucial role on our Professional Services leadership team with the primary responsibility of developing an industry leading Cybersecurity practice. You will collaborate with sales teams, recruiting teams, industry partners, and subject matter experts to deliver exceptional solutions and grow the business. This will involve working with cross-functional teams to drive results and financial performance. Additionally, you will foster an engaging colleague culture that inspires strong team and individual performance, in line with OPS's core values and culture.

Responsibilities:

Specifics of this position may include:

• Growth Mindset / Sales Partnership: Drive company growth through collaboration with sales team(s) and recruiting practice SMEs. Engage in all aspects of sales, including opportunity identification, solution ideation, quality proposal creation, and presentation. This will involve working with cross-functional teams to drive results and financial performance.
• Client Engagement: Foster strategic relationships with key client stakeholders to understand their needs, identify further opportunities for client growth, and drive value within their organizations. Results measured in project profitability, account expansion, customer satisfaction, and NPS.
• Delivery Excellence: Oversee delivery of strategic programs and projects. Mentoring and guiding delivery teams to achieve successful outcomes. Vision: Provide strategic thought leadership to develop and execute plans that expand innovative offerings and enhance value to our clients.
• Team Leadership: Develop and mentor a team of consultants, project managers, and architects.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

• Manage the technical, business, and personnel aspects of consulting engagements.
• Cultivate highly functioning teams comprised of OPS and client resources, the ability to effectively manage the engagement while recognizing and leveraging the expertise of the different resources and the importance of their contributions is critical.
• As the practice leader, assists in establishing and executing practice OKR (objectives and key results) and associated KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience (typically 10+ years) in IT Leadership or IT Consulting.
• 10+ years of overall Cybersecurity experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience working in a Cybersecurity consulting or services provider capacity with a proven track record of success
• Thought leadership and domain expertise in two or more of the following domains: Identity and Access Management (IAM), Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM), Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Data Protection (DLP), and/or Penetration Testing.
• Proven experience and expertise in designing, authoring, and implementing complex statements of works and related artifacts
• Skilled in business case preparation, value realization & articulation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the proven ability to plan strategically and execute operationally
• Develop solutions to address business problems using proven methods, and tools including validating the solution with cross-technology SMEs as applicable.
• Communicate how the engagement impacts risks, business objectives, and quality goals to guide the work of others.
• Hands-on experience in implementing and managing, services-oriented, Cybersecurity solutions.
• Ability to mentor and build teams, as well as drive strategic growth initiatives.
• Cultivate highly functioning teams comprised of OPS and client resources; the ability to effectively manage engagements while recognizing and leveraging the expertise of the different resources and the importance of their contributions is critical.
• Act as a senior project resource, leading and delivering complex enterprise solutions and teams.
• Proven domain expertise with experience building business cases, communicating client-specific value propositions, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
• Proven experience leading technical discussions with business and technical decision-makers, including detailed technical specifications, project roadmaps, deployments, and third-party integrations.
• Key participant in the business development process and operational process creation.
• Develop overall estimates of the effort, resource requirements, and schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with recruiting, people management, and performance discussions.

While our headquarters is located in Atlanta, GA this position is remote with travel up to 25% or as needed, and business hours will be based on Eastern Standard Time (EST).
