The Monetization and Business Planning (M+BP) team is looking to hire a Senior Director, Business Planning to join our team. We are responsible for monetization strategy, pricing, and packaging constructs for products representing over multi-billions of annual revenue. As a Senior Director, Business Planning, you will deliver real impact by:
- Collaborating with engineering to turn new IP and product roadmaps into revenue, growth, and profitability for Microsoft
- Creating business model frameworks that align with customer value
- Optimizing customer experience through new commerce innovation
- Improving operational execution and effectiveness
- Developing offer strategies to accelerate cross-cloud adoption and new user growth

Responsibilities
- Attract, retain, and grow a team of business planning talent. Lead with trust, inclusion and valuing diverse perspectives and ideas.
- Lead cross-functional teams to land monetization strategy, pricing decisions, and packaging constructs for your product areas.
- Contribute to the cultural health across the organization in the areas of trust, inclusion and diversity.
- Coach your team to grow their analytical, strategic, business, executive communications, and operational excellence capabilities.
- Partner with finance to determine the revenue and customer lifetime value impact of business model decisions.
- Collaborate with product engineering and product marketing on product vision, offer strategy and packaging constructs.
- Engage with our Operations & Business Insights team to optimize pricing and launch products across hundreds of regions worldwide.
- Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture within your team and at Microsoft.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 15+ years product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, or related experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, Economics, Business, or related field
- OR 12+ years product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, or related experience AND Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
- 7+ years people management experience.
