We have opened a new role for Senior Director Business Development to sell Biologics CDMO services across the range of discovery, development and contract manufacturing services in the biologics market. We will look at candidates within the USA as remote workers or the EU as remote workers.

What you will be doing:

  • Dive into the world of possibilities as you uncover potential clients for our cutting-edge Biologics services through strategic research and global collaboration with our visionary Business Development Team.

  • Shape the future of our success by developing strategic plans in collaboration with the Business Development Team to ensure the seamless delivery of orders.

  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, competitor activities, and client dynamics, allowing you to formulate effective strategies that redefine success.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with our scientific managers, crafting proposals that meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Ensure adherence to commercial processes by meticulously reviewing relevant documents.
  • Contribute your unique skills and vision to the Business Development team through special projects that elevate us to new heights.


Who we are looking for:

We are seeking individuals who have a passion and determination for growth, specifically those with a Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field (PhD strongly preferred).

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, boasting a minimum of 7 years post-qualification within a scientific lab environment in the industry. As the torchbearer of knowledge and experience in the Biologics realm, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of success in previous Business Development roles within the CDMO industry.

A deep understanding of the CDMO and Biologics market and environment is essential, along with elevated profiles featuring Process Development/Commercial manufacturing experience in biologics. Successful applicants will showcase magnetic commercial acumen, impeccable presentation skills, and strong business analytical abilities. Additionally, the ability to establish oneself as a relationship virtuoso with exceptional interpersonal, networking, and relationship management skills is highly valued.
