We are excited to announce a new pivotal designer role within our team: We are looking to hire Senior Designer, Furniture, Lighting & Décor. Within this highly impactful and innovative designer position, you will have a significant role in the design and management of our product portfolio across all Home

Furnishings categories. Your responsibilities will include contributing to identifying emerging trends, having active collaboration on design presentations, and the unwavering commitment to meeting critical product development deadlines and key calendar dates. This person will report directly to the Senior Director of Design & Trend. Responsibilities:

• Product Design: Help guide the design process for furniture, lighting, and décor items by

gathering relevant inspiration references based on design direction. Create innovative and

visually stunning products that align with our brand's aesthetic and customer expectations.

• Trend Forecasting: Keep a finger on the pulse of design and home décor trends. Identify

emerging styles, colors, and materials that resonate with our target audience. Research market

for new product ideas and competitive set.

• Seasonal Concepts: Contribute to the development of seasonal concepts for product collections.

Help create mood boards, color palettes, and design themes that capture the essence of each

season.

• Design Presentations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft compelling design

presentations. Assist with setup and styling of sample reviews. Communicate the team’s vision

effectively to secure buy-in and alignment.

• Product Development: Ensure that all product development deadlines and key calendar dates

are met. Create design renders, orthographic specs and comment forms that are clear and

concise for overseas vendors. Work closely with our product development team to bring designs

to life.

• Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship in all product

designs. Conduct sample reviews to ensure that products meet or exceed our quality

benchmarks.

• Collaboration: Foster collaboration with the Senior Director of Trend & Design and other

stakeholders to ensure your designs align with the brand's vision and business goals.

• Travel as needed to factories and buying shows domestically and internationally.

• Recommend effective processes and procedures to improve workflow and results.

Qualifications:

• 7-8+ years professional experience in related field required.

o Home hardlines & upholstery preferred.

• Degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent experience.

• Expert in creating full spec/design drawings in CAD; ability to quickly review and comment on

vendor drawings.

• Expert in 3D modeling and rendering

o Rhino highly preferred.

• Proficient with full Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Figma, and Microsoft Suite

(Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)

• A portfolio showcasing a range of successful design projects.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
