Senior Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop and design creative assets for print, social, digital, packaging, apparel and other mediums that effectively communicate the brand's message.
• Conceptualize and execute visual design strategies that align with marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and innovation to translate ideas and insights into compelling creative.
• Work closely with the Ecommerce team to create the templates and design of email and SMS campaigns.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept through completion, while adhering to deadlines and other guidelines presented at the time of briefing. 
• Management of freelance designers for specific projects that fall outside of capabilities. 
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve design quality and effectiveness, constantly bringing new ideas to the table. 
• Brainstorm and bring ideas to the team that support both big picture opportunities as well as timely trends.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of graphic design, ranging in design capabilities (from packaging to digital)
• Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator.
• Experience in CPG is highly preferred.
• Strong creative vision with attention to detail and business objectives.
• Experience in web development.
• Solid knowledge of photography and video production.
• Passionate about building the brand voice visually; inspires creativity internally and externally.
• Strong visual and verbal communication skills, able to effectively present design intent to internal and external audiences.
