Senior Crypto Trader

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Crypto Trader to join our team and take charge of our crypto trading operations.The Senior Crypto Trader will be responsible for managing and executing trades across various cryptocurrency assets, developing sophisticated trading strategies, and optimizing portfolio performance. This role requires extensive experience in the cryptocurrency markets, exceptional analytical skills, and a deep understanding of market dynamics and trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trading Execution: Manage and execute trades in a variety of cryptocurrency markets, including spot, futures, and options, ensuring optimal execution and minimal slippage
• Strategy Development: Design and implement advanced trading strategies that leverage market inefficiencies and capitalize on emerging trends in the crypto space
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, order books, and liquidity to inform trading decisions and strategy adjustments
• Risk Management: Develop and maintain robust risk management protocols to mitigate trading risks and ensure compliance with trading policies
• Portfolio Management: Oversee the trading portfolio, monitoring performance, and making adjustments to enhance returns and reduce exposure
• Data-Driven Insights: Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to refine trading strategies and improve decision-making processes
• Technology Integration: Collaborate with the technology team to enhance trading systems, tools, and algorithms for better performance and efficiency
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on trading performance, strategy outcomes, and market conditions for internal stakeholders
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior traders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional trading experience, with at least 5 years focused on cryptocurrency trading
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus
• Skills:
• Proven track record of profitable trading in the crypto markets
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency trading platforms, market structures, and trading technologies
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in technical and fundamental analysis
• Proficiency in using trading software, algorithmic trading systems, and market data tools
• Excellent communication skills to articulate trading strategies and market insights to the team
