Scope of Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Oversee the monthly close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review complex accounting entries and adjustments.
• Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Manage reconciliation of corporate accounts (e.g., investments, debt).
• Collaborate with departments to maintain data accuracy for financial reporting.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management.
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting procedures.
• Manage internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

Skills Needed:

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX Controls
• Proven ability in team management, analytical thinking, and process improvement.
• Experience with large ERP (Oracle, SAP, etc)

Educational & Work Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar. Master’s Degree and/or CPA is highly preferred
• Work Experience: 5-15+ years of progressive accounting experience including Public Accounting; candidates who are current Audit Managers may also be considered
