A day in the life:

  • We are seeking an innovative and strategic thinker to join our team as the Sr. Content Strategist (Internal Marketing) at Power Digital Marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our content marketing strategies to ensure brand visibility, lead generation, and business growth. You will collaborate with various departments, lead a team of content marketers, and develop creative and compelling content that resonates with our target audience. Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling, high-quality content for various platforms including website, blogs, social media, email campaigns, whitepapers, case studies, and more, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
  • Serve as the primary content creator for Power Digital Marketing, embodying and enhancing the brand's tone, style, and values across all written materials.
  • Conduct thorough research on assigned topics, utilizing a variety of sources to gather accurate and up-to-date information. Demonstrate a strong investigative background to unearth valuable insights and unique angles for content creation.
  • Confidently communicate with subject matter experts within the company to gather necessary information and insights. Ask pertinent questions to fully understand complex topics and translate them into engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Work closely with the content strategy team to conceptualize and execute content plans aligned with business objectives, target audience preferences, and industry trends.
  • Ensure all content is error-free, grammatically correct, and adheres to established brand guidelines. Review and edit content for clarity, coherence, and effectiveness.
  • Monitor the performance of content initiatives through analytics tools, tracking key metrics such as engagement, traffic, and conversion rates. Use data insights to refine content strategies and improve future content performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with design, marketing, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of copy with visual elements and overall marketing strategies

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in content marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing content strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in leading and inspiring a team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Expertise in various content formats and distribution channels, including blog writing, social media, email marketing, and website copy.
  • Proficient in utilizing SEO techniques and analytics tools to drive content performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas concisely.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative and strategic thinker, with a deep understanding of branding, storytelling, and content marketing principles.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and quickly navigate changes in priorities.
  • Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape, emerging trends, and industry best practices.

  • Content Engagement: Measure audience interaction with content, such as shares, likes, and comments.
  • Lead Generation: Track leads generated through content, including form submissions and inquiries.
  • Traffic Growth: Monitor website traffic growth from content efforts, including organic, direct, and referral traffic.
  • Content Quality: Evaluate content based on readability, relevance, and accuracy.
  • Brand Visibility: Measure increase in brand awareness through content, including social media mentions and brand searches.

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of content marketers to achieve exceptional results.
