Senior Consultant- Healthcare

Infosys Consulting is seeking talented and highly motivated Management Consulting professionals with Healthcare Business Consulting experience in health plans, health systems or health tech to join its growing Healthcare practice at the Senior Consultant level.

As a Senior Consultant, you will manage consulting teams in the delivery of strategic programs in the Healthcare industry, helping with business and technology enablement for our health plan and health system clients. Infosys Consulting focuses on technology-enabled business transformation, optimization and growth programs across Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial and ACA lines of business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic business transformation programs, manage program planning, execution and reporting; responsible for program resources, deliverables, quality, stakeholder communication, client buy-in, program risks, mitigations and budgets leading to successful program delivery and client delight.
  • Engage with key stakeholders; manage day-to-day interactions with client teams.
  • Conduct interviews/workshops/walkthroughs with subject matter experts and process owners to gather information for analysis, recommendations and for preparation of project deliverables.
  • Develop solutions that enable adoption of digital capabilities for healthcare organizations.
  • Participate in analyst meetings, industry speaking engagements, publish white papers/viewpoints in leading industry journals.
  • Participate in practice development activities; coach junior consultants; participate in consultant training processes.
  • Ability to travel 4 days a week to multiple client locations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrates proven success in consulting and project-based roles and thorough abilities in one or more of the following areas:
  • Strong understanding of the health payer market by way of working with commercial health plans or government-sponsored health plans across the respective value chains and processes
  • Specialized knowledge and work experience in one or more of the following:
  • Operational Excellence - Member eligibility and enrollment, provider data management and networks, claims and encounter processing, value-based payment strategies, regulatory compliance, product development, sales and quoting, reporting and analytics.
  • Clinical Programs – Experience with analysis and improvement programs for utilization management, care management, risk adjustment, SDOH or health equity.
  • Quality and Insights – Experience with Stars, HEDIS, and other quality and/or network performance programs. Use of analytics to generate actionable insights and translation of those insights into projects and programs with measurable improvement outcomes.
  • Member/Patient Experience – Business application of digital and experience design capabilities to improve elements of member/patient experience
  • Hands-on experience working with one or more of the following in Program Management or Healthcare SME capacity, on a large CRM, Claims Adjudication systems, Care Management system implementation; plus delivering on growth strategies, product lifecycle, data and analytics, applied AI
  • Experience with technical solution implementations
  • 5+ years of professional experience in healthcare industry working for a consulting services organization and/or industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Healthcare administration/management, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience translating business objectives to system requirements.
  • Experience leading strategic and tactical discussions with Sr. Director and Director level.
  • Industry experience working directly at a managed care, fee for service, and/or government health plan organizations is a plus.
  • Master’s degree in healthcare-related field or MBA is preferred.
  • Certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, PMP, and/or Agile preferred
