Senior Construction Manager

Summary:
The Senior Construction Manager oversees large construction projects, allocating resources, tracking progress, managing risks, monitoring schedules, budgets, and quality, and performing contract administration. This role ensures project success from financing to operations and participates in business development.
Supervision:
Reports to the Program Manager
Supervises and mentors subordinates
Responsibilities:
Manage risk and deliver high-quality projects
Implement quality assurance/control programs
Perform contract administration and project management
Ensure projects meet quality standards and company policies
Track and control project schedules and costs
Participate in strategic planning and report on project status
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Assist in proposal creation and business marketing
Ensure timely invoicing and accurate cost reporting
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management
Registered Professional Engineer in Colorado or Certified Construction Manager
Minimum 12 years of experience in Civil Engineering and Construction, with a focus on Project/Construction Management, Risk Management, and Business Development
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Engineering and Construction principles
Leadership and teamwork abilities
Effective communication and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Budget Preparation, Contract Management, and compliance with safety practices
