POSITION SUMMARY:

In the position of Sr. Compensation Analyst, you will on a global scale analyze, design, and administer employer compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management incentives programs. Evaluate jobs, determines pay grade, participate in compensation surveys, and perform associated analysis. Ensure requests for pay adjustments comply with current compensation policy.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Participate in the design of the total rewards plan, a global grade structure based on job evaluation, hierarchy, and market research to determine fair pay for global positions.
  • Prepare and maintain job descriptions for each position within the organization. Review and finalize job descriptions to accurately describe job content, test descriptions for Non-Exempt and Exempt using Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) criteria. Responsible for audits and job code structure within Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Participate in global salary surveys and monitor salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved. Develop techniques for compiling, preparing, and presenting survey data. Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
  • Development and maintain global total cash compensation (TCC) salary structure and competitive TCC to attract job applicants who can offer a long-run commitment. Analyze the company’s remuneration structures and policies, suggest improvements.
  • Evaluate promotions, and compensation proposals for prospective employees, etc. Provide guidance on issues related to compensation for management. Aid in the planning, development, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the annual salary review program for employees and in the implementation of compensation programs and policies.
  • Aid in the planning, development, coordination, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the annual salary review and bonus process for employees and in the implementation of compensation programs and policies.
  • Assist in the execution, administration and provide analytical support to for a variety of compensation policies and programs such as Short-Term Incentive, Long Term Incentives and other recognition incentive programs including communication and calculation of awards. Prepare statistical analysis, data modeling, and costing of base.
  • Provide consultation and service to management and HR Business Partners regarding market trends, position, classifications, and application of compensation programs, policies, and guidelines. Assist in developing and the delivery of training and programs/presentations about compensation-related topics and initiatives. Ensure the compensation philosophy and programs are effectively communicated and driven globally.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing laws and regulations and updates to legal requirements. Stay up to date and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations such as minimum wage and overtime rules, etc.
  • Provide proactive Project Management support for key Compensation projects and initiatives through various lifecycle stages to ensure successful completion and impact.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field of study
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in compensation analyst role with global exposure
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in building compensation structures, writing job descriptions, and benchmarking jobs
  • Computer Skills Desired: Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Indirect, large data manipulation) and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of UKG -- report building a plus


Base Pay Range: $79,000 - $85,000
