Summary

Our client, a Start-Up Therapeutics Company, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Medicinal Chemist. This individual needs to be a highly skilled and motivated Medicinal Chemist with a specialization in small molecules, particularly catecholamines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of stereochemistry and its implications in small molecule design and synthesis pathways. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of novel therapeutics targeting catecholamine-related pathways for various medical conditions.

Mandatory Requirements

• Ph.D of equivalent degree in Medicincal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry or related field
• Strong experience in synthetic organic chemistry with expertise in small molecule synthesis and characterization
• In depth knowledge of stereochemistry and its application in drug design and development
• Proven success in medicincal chemistry research, preferably in the field of catecholamines

Term & Start

• 6+ month contract with a strong possibility of extension
• Start - June/July 2024
• 4-5 days a week onsite in Chicago, Illinois
