We are looking to bring a talented Sr Chemist on our team that will be responsible for all steps of the formula development from ideation to final formulation. The ideal candidate should be an experienced practitioner excited by hands-on laboratory work in a dynamic R&D environment in the cosmetics industry, with broad skill set and experience in hair care formulations.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop new formulas and reformulate existing products under manager's direction.
Conduct stability testing
Prepare PTI for all approved new formulations, including formula, process, specification sheet and stability report.
Monitor competitors' patents and try to avid infringement and communicate with Legal team closely to apply patent if needed.
Search and evaluate new interesting raw materials for future projects.
What You Need
Bachelor or MS in Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
5-10 years laboratory experience with strong background in hair care cosmetic formulations and product development.
Passion for exploring out of the box ideas and proactively effectively with cross-functional partners in the innovation process (regulatory, safety, innovation, supply chain)
