Who We Are

Cimpress Services' central teams allow us to remain entrepreneurial; to stay small as we grow. These teams enable our businesses to remain laser-focused on their customers and build the tools and services that make Cimpress greater than the sum of our businesses. We are problem solvers. We are storytellers. We are forward thinking. We are relationship builders. We are responsible for company-wide activities like accounting, capital allocation, global tax planning, procurement, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and protecting the company through compliance and risk management. We’re evolving our processes and technology to support Cimpress’ rapid growth.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand the trends, risks, and opportunities within the Indirect Goods & Services and Contract Manufacturing category. Based on this analysis, develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization's objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and innovation.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, including selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts and renewals, and managing ongoing performance. This involves working closely with suppliers to ensure they meet the company's standards for quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, such as technology, marketing, product development, operations, and finance teams, to understand their needs and ensure the procurement strategy supports the overall business goals. The category manager acts as a bridge between the company and the suppliers, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment of objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, regulatory compliance, and ethical sourcing. This includes developing contingency plans to manage risks and ensuring that procurement practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and corporate social responsibility standards.
  • Play a critical role in developing and implementing sustainable procurement practices. This includes identifying and prioritizing environmentally friendly and ethically sourced indirect goods and services, engaging with suppliers to encourage sustainable practices, and ensuring that the company's supply chain meets established sustainability and corporate social responsibility goals.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for new products or improvements to existing ones that can drive company revenue growth. By leveraging insights from market analysis and supplier capabilities, the strategic procurement category manager collaborates with product development teams to bring innovative products to market, ensuring alignment with consumer demands and competitive differentiation.
