As a Senior CAD Designer, you will manage, draft, and design projects, taking ownership from start to finish.
Responsibilities, Expectations, And Duties
Draft and design projects such as commercial and residential developments, municipal projects, transportation projects and more
Prepare plans and layouts generated in AutoCAD 3D Civil or other design software
Produce accurate output with a keen eye for aesthetics
Manage project data files from various sources
Be enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-disciplined to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers
Be proactive and responsive in effectively communicating with colleagues and clients, both in-person and virtually/remotely
Qualifications, Skills, And Competencies
Advanced skills using AutoCAD/Civil 3D; experience with Microstation a plus
Experienced in detailing as well as plan and profile, site plans, drainage, grading, utilities (profiles), SWPPP, and associated items
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; ability to think 3-dimensionally
Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities
Be a professional, creative, team-focused individual that works well with others in a team environment
3-5 years’ experience utilizing AutoCAD/Civil 3D on land and site development projects
Associates degree preferred; equivalent experience and training may be considered
