Senior Buyer / Advanced Manufacturing / Los Angeles, CA

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the procurement of mechanical & electrical components and subassemblies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing startup in the Advanced Manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Work with Manufacturing, product development, and contract manufacturing teams to create supply plans for components and assemblies
• develop relationships with suppliers to improve quality and security
• reduce risk of supply disruption & lead to resolution of receiving quality, and billing issues.
• Maintain supplier data

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (MS preferred)
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components
• MRP/ERP Software experience (NetSuite/Oracle)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced high pressure environment
• Ability to plan/manage multiple project and handle changing priorities
