Senior Business System Analyst

We are currently hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a long-term contract in Austin, TX. This is a hybrid position with 2 days expected to be worked onsite at the client's location. The Business Systems Analyst will be performing senior-level systems analysis work. If selected, you will be gathering, developing and documenting user and functional stories for Agile development. The ideal candidate must have the ability to research technical problems in the legacy system using PeopleTools/Code, SQL, etc. In addition, you will be applying analytical skills to various business and technical processes with emphasis on data migration and data management. If selected, your roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Coordinating cross team analysis of existing application(s), destination application(s) and ETL.
• Identifying user and system requirements and documenting user stories for SCRUM development.
• Identifying root cause of data problems and recommending solutions.
• Identifying process or project risk and suggest mitigation.
• Working with outside vendors and contractors to facilitate service delivery.
• Leading and coordinating change management process in SCRUM.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 yrs. experience working in Information Technology.
• 5 yrs. in-depth experience with SQL writing and executing advanced SQL in both Oracle and SQL Server
• 5 yrs. proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• 3 yrs. experience in gathering and documenting requirements and user stories in Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification(s).
• 1 yr. of experience using PeopleSoft HRMS.
• 1 yr. of experience managing a Scrum or Kanban team
• 1 yr. of experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops
• 1 yr. of experience working on projects involving implementations/conversions from a legacy system.
• 1 yr. of experience on projects involving Retirement/Pensions/Benefits.
