Senior Business System Analyst

Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Senior Business System Analyst for our direct client.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 12 months

Estimated pay range: $80 - 100 per hour per client contract and candidate skills, experience and work location.

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analytics Engineer with expertise in Snowflake and Tableau to join our dynamic team.
• As a key member of our analytics and data engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions that empower our organization to make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for architecture, design, and processes to enable development team. Generate Source to target mapping document.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and manufacturing experts, to align solutions with business goals
• Data Modeling: Design and implement data models within Snowflake to support efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of manufacturing data.
• Tableau Development: Create and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer with a focus on Snowflake and Tableau.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing data models in Snowflake.
• Advanced skills in Tableau for dashboard development and report creation.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing data models in SAP.
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization in both Snowflake and Tableau environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Snowflake and Tableau certifications.
• Experience with other BI tools and data visualization platforms.
