Senior Business Development Manager

As of June 24th, an international law firm seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to service attorneys within the Life Sciences Practice. The Senior BD Manager will be responsible for:

• Working directly with Practice Leaders and individual attorneys on the creation and execution of business development initiatives.
• Preparing tailored pitches, proposals, and responses to RFPs for distribution to clients.
• Organizing logistics for conferences, events, and speaking engagements.
• Creating marketing and other promotional materials as well as generating content for the firm’s website.
• Advising attorneys on marketing best practices, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and compiling deal information for ranking submissions.
• Managing the life sciences annual budget.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least six years of business development experience within a law firm or other professional services setting.
• Previous exposure to intellectual property and life science matters, a proactive work ethic, and strong interpersonal and writing skills.
• Ability to draft creative RFPs and other practice-specific pitch materials.
• A collaborative and creative approach to marketing.
