IntePros is seeking a Senior Business Architect for one of our client's, a leading health insurance provider, in the Philadelphia market place. This role does have onsite responsibilities in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Title: Senior Business Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a Business Architect to join our team, individuals who are recognized as external thought leaders within their strategic function or discipline. You will provide broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and technologies within your area of specialization. You will play a crucial role in supporting the standards and conventions set by the Data Architecture and Data Governance teams within the BTS Enterprise Information Management team, ensuring the design and implementation of architecturally compliant applications. This position involves participation in the development of product or business strategy, software design and development, and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and applications, both in the cloud and in-house.
  • Serve as a technical expert on development projects and participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
  • Identify opportunities to redesign business processes for improved results and automate functions.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and business requirements.
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality, and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
  • Analyze code, identify errors, and coordinate issue resolution with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between Divisions/Functions and IT on projects, ensuring technical validity.
  • Collect, evaluate, and formulate information and hypotheses.
  • Consult with end-users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet their needs.
  • Proactively identify and resolve complex problems impacting business management and direction.
  • Lead multidisciplinary projects or initiatives.
  • Participate in data strategy, road map exercises, business intelligence/data warehouse product selection, design, and implementation.
  • Holistically design solutions in a complex environment, considering the impact on the entire landscape for long-term sustainability.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in data mart and data warehouse environments.
  • Development and project management experience in implementing analytic applications, including all phases of the system development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data and its utilization for analytical and operational purposes.
  • Excellent experience in ETL or ELT design and development.
  • Strong solutions design experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organization, analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
