MeUndies

Senior Business Analyst

MeUndies Los Angeles, CA

MeUndies is a Los Angeles, CA-based underwear and loungewear company best known for its softer-than-soft basics. Founded in 2011, MeUndies disrupted the $110B underwear industry with the first online underwear subscription. Since then, the brand has inspired a passionate community of undie-obsessed individuals with its bold, comfortable products. And that’s only the beginning…

Today MeUndies has sold more than thirty million pairs of underwear and is profitable with double-digit YoY growth. It continues to redefine the subscription market by evolving the transactional subscription to a membership centered on community and relationships with the brand.

The innovative direct-to-consumer brand offers multiple purchasing options, including singles, packs, matching pairs, and monthly membership.

With a growing company, comes a growing team full of innovative people. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to help build out our next-generation business analytics and finance program. You will be hands-on with both a variety of technologies as well as intimately involved with the creation and execution of our data-driven strategies, ranging from customer acquisition and retention, to product planning and merchandising. This role is a great opportunity to work in a highly visible role with a 360-degree view of a growing digitally-native, omnichannel brand. If you are someone who enjoys the intersection of data analytics and business or financial strategy, this role is a great fit for you! The Senior Business Analyst will report directly to the Director of Data, Analytics & Finance.

Please note that this is a hybrid position of 4 days/week in our Los Angeles office

What You'll Do

  • Dashboard and report creation within Tableau for various departments around the business (ranging from web analytics, marketing, product planning and merchandising, logistics, etc). Monitoring of key e-commerce and subscription program metrics, as well as identification of emerging trends and underlying drivers
  • Ability to carry projects from issue identification, scoping of solutions, distilling recommendations, through to cross-functional execution and monitoring.
  • Overall project management - maintaining a roadmap and ability to communicate roadblocks and changes to priorities effectively
  • Stakeholder management - Ability to work cross-functionally with varying levels of stakeholders (executives, engineering counterparts, and operational department leads)
  • Identification and documentation of business requirements of stakeholders, and assessment of if requirements have been ultimately met when projects conclude
  • Data Insights - Broad knowledge and understanding of business and financial impact based on information contained in our data. This individual will also be summarizing insights in various deliverable formats, depending on the specific need (dashboards, slide decks, one-pagers, etc)
  • Develop and maintain web and marketing analytics such as: customer lifecycle marketing, customer lifetime value, customer segmentation, marketing channel attribution and performance, funnel analysis, A/B testing and promotional analysis
  • Basic modeling and forecast creation

What You Have

  • 2-5 years relevant experience; ideal candidates will have e-commerce experience and/or financial/business analysis experience
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, Data Analytics, Data Science, etc
  • SQL Experience Required
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills Required
  • Familiarity and experience with BI Tools (such as Tableau, Looker, Looker Studio, PowerBI, etc.), and a track record of creating polished and professional reports
  • Experience performing financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis or other related financial analysis experience is preferred
  • Experience with conducting analyses and distilling insights for varying audiences (engineering partners, executive leadership, operational stakeholders, etc.)
  • A passion for data integrity - you let the numbers define the narrative rather than finding numbers to support a narrative
  • Project management experience is ideal (roadmap management and development, working and executing against project plans, communicating effectively when deviations from the plan are identified, etc)
  • Ability to manage time effectively - Understand how to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively upward when priorities need to shift, and identify when additional assistance is needed to remain effective and execute to plan
  • Checking off some but not all the boxes?! NO worries, we would still love to hear from you!

The base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $128,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
