About The Opportunity
DMI, LLCis seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support our client.
Duties And Responsibilities
Function as a bridge between the business and development team.
Analyze business requirements and create user stories for the development team, collaborating with Product Owners, engineers, quality assurance analysts.
Assist the team in high-level project planning, review and ensure requirements are being met, and projects are successful. Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in business analysis through Software Development Required Skills/Certifications:
Strong diligence and highly organized
Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices
Function as a bridge between Digital Product Managers (DPM) and software development teams to achieve shared understanding of business goals.
Understand Initiatives and delivery strategy through Agile/Nexus as a part of the Software Development Life Cycle
Gather and clearly document business and system requirements for technical project initiatives
Communicate effectively to development and quality teams.
Measure desired Key Performance Indicators through data and analytical measurement
Ability to conceptualize necessary steps to achieve business objectives through technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and/or software pseudocode.
Identify functional and non-functional requirements for digital applications
Create user stories and use cases with all gathered requirements
Collaborate with engineers to implement requirements
Collaborate with QA analysts to provide detailed acceptance criteria
Assist Product Owners in orchestrating project plan at a high-level
Assist Product Owners in tracking requirements to ensure they are met
Review and approve requirements with development team and stakeholders on a regular basis
Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented, ability to project plan and help organize backlogs with Product Owners
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement, driven to take action on those opportunities

Education and Years of Experience:
5 to 9 years
Required And Desired Skills/Certifications
Experience with IT project, Elicit and document requirements in user stories, support development team
