Senior Billing Specialist

We are currently partnering with a leading global law firm operating in over 30 countries all over the world looking for a Senior Billing Specialist to help partners to manage their practices by providing matter management and pricing support.

This position is Hybrid out of the New York City Office.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly meetings with partners for matter review and obtain billing forecast information and follow up to ensure that all pledged billing is actioned in a timely manner each month.
• Oversee processing of action items, including time transfer, write-offs, and billing guide dispatch.
• Maintain department standards and uphold revenue accounting controls.
• Provide financial advice and reporting on revenue, profitability, and collections.
• Draft matter budgets and activate automatic alerts for ongoing progress reporting.
• Flag issues impacting Lock Up profile and inform partners and management.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Legal Billing Experience, preferably in a law firm environment.
• Excellent analytical and numeracy skills, adopting a big-picture approach.
• Intermediate or above proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with varied workloads.
• Experience with 3E highly preferred but not essential.
